Life has a way of moving quickly from the moment it starts, and for many of us, debt enters the picture early on. The idea of “getting ahead” is all to often unrealistic. What we were fortunate enough to experience was the power of 12–24 months of intention early in our marriage and ministry careers. We came home from our honeymoon to a Bedrock Ministries rental where affordable rent, on entry-level ministry salaries, allowed us to tackle debt and begin saving—something far from the norm for most. Beyond housing, we were challenged to get specific about the goals we wanted to work toward early on, even if it would be years before we saw them take shape. Two years later, we purchased a townhome in an area ideal for us. As we write this testimony, we are weeks away from welcoming our first child and are experiencing the incredible reality of freedom from crippling debt. Beyond establishing strong financial habits, Bedrock helped us learn how to slow life down just enough to be intentional about what matters most and where we’re headed. We hope it does the same for you!

We’re the Bibbs family—Lex and Tiff—and we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to live in the Skyview home through Bedrock Ministries's generous vision to support couples like us. That experience helped us save for a down payment, pay off debt, and prepare for homeownership. Even more than that, we felt encouraged and supported every step of the way. In 2023, we closed on our first home in Dallas, NC, and we are forever grateful to Bedrock Ministries for helping make that dream possible.
